How Many Calories Do Jumping Jacks Burn?

Well the answer is about 400 calories-about the same as any cardio like running, it's really a better mix to keep your heart going when your legs are tired of running or cycling and you continue (non-stop) doing jumping jacks and go back to your other cardio, maintaining a higher heart rate for 30 minutes a day (non stop no matter what the exercise is) is the most important part of high calorie burn and fat loss ect...

Any form of exercises will burn calories.  Its not so much what you do but the length of time and how long you do them.  Depending on your level of physical fitness and what you are trying to do I would suggest walking.  I know it takes up a lot of time but it is the best way to burn "fat" and/or "calories.  I hope this helps.. If you do 1500 jumping jacks your will lose 300 calories or more!...

If you do 3000 you will lose about around 1000 calories

I read online before that each jumping jack equaled a little over 1 calorie. I would like to believe this is true considering I have been doing 2 or 3 thousand per week. It's seems realistic b/c it's a total body workout. Good Luck.......
