    Castleton is known as a honey pot village that is located in the Derbyshire Peak District, in England. The village is situated at the western end of the Hope Valley, on the Peakshole Water stream. This village is surrounded by all three sides with hills, namely Lose Hill and Hollins Cross to the north, and Mam Tor to the west.  

    Castleton attracts fat count of tourists, who usually prefer walking the Limestone Way. This way generally routes from south of the village down Cave Dale. The main attractive day in this village is the Oak Apple Day. On this day a garland king is paraded around the pathways wearing an outsized garland of flowers, this garland king is followed by young girls of this village who are dressed in white clothing alongwith flowers.

    Some of the facilities offered from this place are information centre, youth hostel, and pubs.
