Hi, I'm sure you may find a local ASPCA or animal shelter around. I believe they only charge you a small donation fee. They have many wonderful animals that need loving homes, and they offer spay and neutering. If that doesn't work, try online on petfinder.com for a CKC registered dog or pup, instead of an AKC registered one. The AKC charges a lot of money, but the blood lines are great. CKC the prices are way lower, and the pups and dogs are just as well bred. Animal Shelters really have a wide variety, and sometimes you get lucky and fall in love, and you might just go home with your best furry friend!
