How Do I Convert 100 Degrees Fahrenheit To Degrees Celsius?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature scales are linearly related by the equation ...
      c = (5/9)(f-32)
      f = (9/5)c + 32

    Choosing the first equation to convert to Celsius,
      c = (5/9)(100-32) = (5/9)(68) = 340/9 = 37 7/9 ≈ 37.8

    100 ºF ≈ 37.8 ºC
