    When Would A Car Stater Run With The Ignition Switch Being Turned On? There Is No Starter Relay Installed On This Type / Yewar Of Car Read Comments Section

    While troubling shooting a 2000 Chevy Blazer with starting problems, the starter started turning over with out the ingintion switch being turned on, i have replaced the starter, after I had it check and still have the same problem. What would cause this to happen?

    Have you checked the starter relay
    You see what happens is when you turn the key the power goes to the starer relay then to the starter but the relays do go bad which would cause the starer to come on buy its self if the relay is stuck closed and not to start at all when stuck open

    There is no starter relay installed in this type and year of car, I have looked for it . Try again with your answer. It has aelectrince ingition contol system, again the year of the car is a 2000 Chey Blazer
