A lawyer doesn't have a lot of job opportunities. In fact, a lawyer job is only to serve in the court. He can either be a government or private lawyer. Secondly he can also give law consultancy as being self-employed.

But the field of law is very vast. There are hundred and thousand of cases of law in the courts and people have to go to these lawyers for consultation and fight for their rights in the court.

Having been one, I respectfully disagree.  A lawyer can specialize in many areas of law {IE: Internet law, wills, trusts, estates, real estate, elderly law, nursing home care, tort law, negligence law, accidental death, motorcycle accident law, auto accident law, corporate law, celebrity law, criminal law, DUI, BWI, disability, insurance law, pharmaceutical law, international law, maritime law, divorce, family law, adoption, children's' rights, civil rights law, patents, trademark law}...shall I go on? ♥ nassy
