What Profession Did Allan Cunningham Pursue Other Than Creative Writing?

Answer Question

Yes other than creative writing he also tried his hand in journalism and worked as a parliamentary reporter. He continued in this profession for 4 years as he started it in the year 1810 and continued with it till 1814. After serving as a parliamentary reporter, he started working as clerk in a studio of a famous sculptor known to the world with the name of Francis Chantrey.

On this post he had quite a long association as he served at it till the year 1841 when the Mr Chantrey died. But even while being the above mentioned post, his writing was continued and he wrote a few books on sculptors and architects. He also write a good number of songs during this very duration and it might be possible that his association with art made him use the language that made his prose a bit obscure to general readers.
