My Dog Drank 2 Day Old Pee In A Bottle. Will This Harm Him?

I work out side lawn cutting and we have to pee in a bottle sometimes because we are in a neighborhood, I was cleaning this out of my truck and my dog drank the leaking pee from one of the bottles. Is this bad?

Any foreign or unusual substance can cause gastrointestinal upset in dogs.  Urine that has been sitting for several days may have bacteria growing which can offset dogs normal bacterial flora.  Monitor your dog for diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, and anorexia.  If signs begin have your dog examined by a veterinarian.  In most dogs this should not be a problem.

Why was there two day old pee in a bottle?

Sorry, didn't see the full explanation before I asked the question. Dogs drink from toilets with fresh pee and I have never known it to hurt my dog. Why is there pee in the toilet? My son is too lazy to flush. =)

No, they say human can drink their own urine two days in a row . The third day is toxic. So a dog drinking urine won't hurt it.
