    Starch and glycogen are the polymers of glucose.Starch is used for the storage of glucose in plants.it is made of 1-4 linkage for linear chain and 1-6 linkage for branched.glycogen is also a storage form of glucose and it also has 1-4 and 1-6 linkage,but glycogen is mainly used by animals to store glucose and it is highly branched comparing to starch.
