What Can Be Given To The Elderly Fir Server Pain When They Are Allergic To Codeine And Morphine?

This is kind of difficult since I don't know what is causing your pain, whether it be a disease or something temporary but I'm going to assume that it is not something temporary and go with that. There are 2 things you can get, one is called Gabatril , its classification is in the antidepressants but it has a pain blocker in it and it works wonderfully if you cant take the other 2 pain meds as you can take it long term and you wont have to worry about dependancy. The other is neurontin, this is good for muscle and joint pain and the same as the other can be taken for long periods of time without worries of dependancy. Both of these drugs can be elevated to higher doses depending on need.

You can get percocet, darvocet, oxycodone or demerol but these are all narcotics and physicians are very releuctant to give them out unless they are only giving under 15 pills as the more narcotics they give out the higher their insurance policy they have to pay. They also worry about dependancy more with narcotics also.
