What Is MS-Publisher?

A wide range of application software has been developed by Microsoft over the last few years. Other than application software Microsoft has also developed operating systems as well. Microsoft Office Publisher (MS Publisher) is computer software which helps user to create and share a wide range of publications and marketing materials. Basically it is used for printing and publishing the materials and for the advertising of the company. For example interfaces of books, the greeting cards, news papers and logos can be designed using Microsoft publisher. The users can spread their creations through print, websites and email.

Microsoft Publisher is used to create newsletters, entire newspapers, magazines, brochures, reports and other print publications. It is a very useful program and it usually comes in the Microsoft Office package. Many of the print newspapers you read are now produced using this program and it has expedited the editing and publishing process.

Most editors simply copy and paste the articles submitted to their paper into Publisher, and arrange it into columns and the appropriate format. Publisher is also very handy if you have images and illustrations to place in your publication, as you can insert it through an easy, one-step process and you can even make some minor modification to the photograph, such as to the lighting, exposure and colour.

Once you have completed editing your MS Publisher document, and especially if you have created a newsletter or a paper, it is then standard to convert it into a PDF document and forward it to your printer in this format.
