How Is A Cash Flow Statement Different From A Cash Flow Forecast?

    A financial statement of any kind deals with past transactions.  A financial forecast of any kind deals with transactions which are expected or hoped for in the future.  A budget, for example, is a kind of forecast which sets limits on the amount of money which can be spent in each category of spending.
