Who Won The 2006 FA Trophy?

    The two thousand and six FA trophy was won by Grays, who defeated working two nil at Upton park, the home of West Ham United on Sunday fourteenth of May, in front of nearly fourteen thousand fans.  

    Grays built up the lead by half time, scoring both their goals towards the end of the first half. Oli scored their first in the forty first minute before Poole added a second in first half injury time.

    The match was officiated by Premiership referee Howard Webb.  

    Grays made it to the final after defeating Exeter three two on aggregate, this despite losing the first leg two one.  

    Woking had a far easier time in the semi finals, beating Boreham Wood one nothing in the away leg, and then winning the return two nil, giving them a three nil aggregate victory.  

    It was the second time in two years Grays had won the trophy, having won it the previous year at Villa Park, the home of Premiership side Aston Villa.
