Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The city of Bath is in Somerset in south west of England. It is a small city with a population of 80,000 according to the census of 2001. In 1590, Queen Elizabeth I was the one who granted the status of city to the area. The city has been named so because it was built around the naturally occurring hot springs where the Romans built their baths and also a temple. In 1987, the city was granted the status of a world heritage site. The average age of the bath resident is almost 40 years.  71 % of the population is Christian and has four twin towns.
