This is a hard question to answer, because scientists don't agree on how long marijuana stays in the system. This seems to vary depending on the person's age, weight, diet and other factors. The drug can be stored in fat tissues long after it has been ingested.
Scientists are not even sure if marijuana ever fully leaves the body; it may be simply that it is no longer detectable through a drug test.
Some sources say that the drug is detectable up to a week after smoking. Others say it is detectable up to a month later. People who smoke regularly are more likely to have a build up of the drug in their system. Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water a day will help to cleanse the body. The best strategy is to abstain from the drug altogether.
Obviously, the best tactic, if you want to pass a drug test, is to abstain from taking it.

I have heard it takes 30 to 60 days for Marijuana to leave your system but yet, once it only took me less than a week. I didn't drink that much more water or anything. It just happened that way. Drugs can stay in people's systems longer or shorter then what the internet or than what you hear. It's all in how your body is.
