Who knows, but think of it this way. Someone goes in, grabs an animal of the tests choice, and say they are testing eyeliner, they sit there and torture till either they have a reaction , they die, or surprisingly come out fine.
Before they go into the lab, they are stuffed into cages with no attention for days...weeks.. So if that's treating the animal properly than I'm doing everything wrong with my pets.
