Can You Please Give Me The List Of Saints Whose Feast Day Is April First?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In the Roman Catholic church, the First of April has the following Saint's feast days:

    Saint Hugh of Grenoble
    Saint Waleric
    Saint Jacoba

Hugh of Grenoble is a Christian Saint, was Bishop of Grenoble.  He was ordained by Pope Pius the Seventh and canonized only two years after his death by Pope Innocent the Second.   Saint Bruno and his followers sought out Hugh of Grenoble to help them find a place in this world from which they could retire from doing their good work.  Hugh found them a home.

Saint Waleric of Walric, or a whole number of many different spellings has TWO feast days, both the First of April and the 12th December.  He was the founder of the Abbey of Leuconay by the River Somme in France.

Saint Jacoba, I have no information on, other than to tell you that the day is definitely 1st April and so, that's your three.
