Presentations can be terrifying for most people, and many people have probably had sleepless nights worrying about how they will get on the next day at uni when they have to give their presentation!
Here are a few ways in which you could improve when delivering a presentation:
Arrive on time - arrive at exactly the time when your presentation is to be held. You will be presenting your work to the rest of the class, so there will be many people to get through, so if you arrive on time then everyone will be kept on track.
Be organised - make sure you have all your notes for your presentation. Any sheets that you need to read from or present should be kept in one folder, so that you don't get all flustered and end up having to search for them during your presentation.
Speak clearly - some people tend to stutter and mumble during presentations, which is understandable as they are nerve wracking, but try to speak clearly if you can, as you will end up even more flustered if people have to ask you to repeat something!
Try to keep eye contact with the rest of the class - obviously if you are showing work to the rest of the class, such as artwork, then you may need to have your focus on your work so that you can explain what media you have used etc, but it is good to try to look at the rest of the class rather than staring down at your notes all the time.
Pay attention to other people - try not to let your attention drop whilst other people are giving their presentations. That way, you can observe how they deliver their presentations and you may even pick up a few tips!
