Well, there is no real solid answer to this question. No one is an excellent kisser for their first time and that is to be expected.
If you're going just for a normal tongue-less kiss, then don't worry about it at all.
If you're going for a french kiss, you should probably either let the guy or girl know that this is your first time, or after the kiss. Just relax, let them do most of the work and maybe after the first couple of tries you can try putting your tongue in theirs.

What it really comes down to is just experience. Everyone has their first times, and don't expect yourself to be excellent.
