There have been several famous dwarf actors in cinema history who have established themselves as stars in their field. Verne Troyer, also a stunt man, standing at two feet and eight inches, appeared as 'Mini-Me' in the three Austin Powers films to date, while Phil Fondacaro has made appearances in such films as Land of the Dead (2005) and Willow (1988). British born actor Warwick Davis has enjoyed a highly successful career in the science fiction and fantasy genre, having performed in the Star Wars series, as the title character in Willow and as Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter series. In American independent cinema, Peter Dinklage won critical praise for his leading role in The Station Agent (2004) and Living in Oblivion (1995). Michael J. Anderson has also appeared in many films by director David Lynch, while Tony Cox has co-starred in several successful comedies, including Bad Santa (2003) and Me, Myself and Irene (2000). Famous female actresses include Patty Maloney, and Zelda Rubinstein, best known for her performance in the Poltergeist series.
