In What Way Is An Autologous Fat Transfer Different To Other Dermal Fillers?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The main difference between the two procedures is that the Autologous fat transfer does not require any foreign bodies to be introduced into the body. Everything that is injected comes naturally from your body so there is no chance of an allergic reaction. Many people are actually allergic to other dermal fillers and it isn't uncommon for them to develop allergic reactions after having the procedures done.
The results from the treatment also seem to last a lot longer than other dermal fillers and that means that overall it will cost less than the other procedures will. However, you do usually still have to have more than one treatment in order to give long lasting results with an Autologous fat transfer. Overall the procedures are similar but the main difference is where the contents of the injections come from. If you are unsure as to which one would be right for you it would be helpful to do your own research on the two and put together the pros and cons for each one. You have to be sure that you are having the right treatment for you.
