How Do I Shop For Groceries Online?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When you first go to the site that you wish to shop at, e.g. Asda or Tesco, it is a good idea to find out whether or not they deliver to your area. Most of these sites usually have a store locator, which will help you to locate your nearest store.

If they do deliver to you, then you can begin shopping. Some sites will have a virtual shopping list, which means that as you select items, they will be added to a list on the screen.

The store has different catagories (aisles) like it does in the actual supermarket. You can select the items that you need by clicking on the catagory, and selecting the relevant items. For example, if you wish to purchase a loaf of bread, then you would click on 'bakery and cakes'.

Once you have finished shopping, you would click on 'go to checkout'. With some supermarkets, you may have to book a delivery slot. If you are not an existing customer then you will have to fill out your card details.
