Should I worry about yellowish liquid coming out of kitten anus?
Orphand kittens were given to us a week and half ago. They are being feed a bottle with kitten formula. They are bathe twice daily, during one of the kittens bath we noticed that the anus was swollen and has some yellowish thick liquid was around its bottom and legs. We have been watching the other kitten, the bigger kitten is sucking on the kitten with the swollen anus. We have seperated each of the kittens and today noticed they duning there feeding that all the kittens have a yellowish thick liquid coming out. What do we do?
Yes, you should worry. It is a sign of various diseases that kittens can contract or inherit from their mother. You should take the kitten to the vet. Some of the diseases can be cured and as with humans, some can not be remidied.
