What Is A Memory Card For The PS2?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

A Play Station 2 memory card is a memory storage device for the Play Station 2 games. The card has a storage capacity up to 8 Mega Byte. The card can store games of both formats i.e. Play Station 1 and Play Station 2. The Play Station 2 Memory Cards Slots also read the Memory Cards from Play Station 1.

The Play Station 2 also supports Play Station 1 controllers and games (Backwardly Compatible); however this is not true in certain cases, some of the Play Station games do not work on the PS2, while some of the PS2 Games do not support Play Station 1 controllers.

A ps2 memory card is what holds all your saved games and files. You can't save anything without one, so you'd best keep track of it.
