Do I Move On From Carlos?

That's totally your decision. It depends on what is more important for you - your family or Carlos. Since you feel that your family hates him and you no longer feel the same way for him, it is important that you think about it now. If you feel your relationship can not be the same with him ever again you must move on.

You have to separate what you are feeling from all the other stuff that is going on. They say blood is thicker than water meaning that family is more important than other relationships when it comes down to it. Look at what you really want and what that would mean going forward. Keep an open mind as nobody can know what the future brings but can get an idea where it will lead by what has happened in the past. If you feel you can see through whatever issues are at hand right now and you are able to help your family see that they dislike Carlos for untrue reasons then try to work it all out but if you see that things are going to get ugly, you then have to make a choice between family or him which leads me back to the beginning of what I was saying.
