Do Bassett Hounds Always Shed So Much?
I have a bassett and it is constantly shedding!!! Any suggestions, or a way to reduce the shedding.

Do you brush the coat regularly? A good bathing and conditioning followed by little brushing will help that out. Bassets rock!

Not always, normal dogs go through "seasons" of shedding and will stop. But depending on what kind of food you buy for them they can shed more or less because of the quality of nutrition they are getting.
