Why Does My Month Old Kitty Poop Outside The Box? Occasional Diarrhea

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

If you are giving your kitten cows milk then there is too much lactose in it which causes loose bowel movements.Cat or kitten milk will avoid that problem.Your kitten should be wormed once a month for the first 6 months but using a very mild worming solution as prescribed by your vet. Some kittens ( very few in my experience) need to be shown to use the litter tray.Make sure that there is a good depth of letter to dig into, and change the litter daily to avoid infection. If this persists for the next week then you should consult your vet and perhaps think about a change of diet.
