Why Is It So Hard To Get Scholarships, Grants, Help From The Government?
I have applied to so many scholarships over the years, I've looked for grants, I look for help from my school. I must not know the trick because I have plenty of friends, most which were not athletes or Albert Einsteins, who always seem to get grants and scholarships, or if they get financial aid they get the money back. It's really frustrating.

I would ask them what they are doing that you are not. Make sure you are listing your best points, and when you fill out the applications have someone you trust check over them. Make sure all the lines are filled out, even if they don't apply to you, make sure to put n/a. Usually, the school you are looking into will have a financial aid dept. And you can schedule a free meeting and they can help you with that and help you fill out and submit the forms. Goverment grants are hard to get. Scholarships have to apply to you and your circumstance and you usually have to have a good report on why you deserve the scholarship, over someone else, etc. I would try a financial aid office at one of the schools you are looking into to going and they can help you. I'm actually already in school but scholarships are supposed to be available to you even if you already are enrolled in school
basically you should apply as soon as you are accepted to a school,I agree that offer so much but it is not easy and if they think you or your family has any money you may not qualify,so you have nothing,your parents are not in a position to help you,if you live at home they want parents tax papers,it is sad but true. how hard they make it. but don't give in,nor give up,have the school apply for you.good luck
