How Do I Find Songs That Were Sampled?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Sampling means to incorporate an audio part of an original recording in a new recording. Simply enter "sampled songs" in a search engine and you will find the relevant results popping up. Songs that are parodied or redone without making use of the original recording of the song does not qualify as "samples."  On specialised websites, you will find the information organized under the name of the artist, whose song is sampled followed by the name of the track and the year released, and then the name of the sampling artist. You can also listen to song samples in cduniverse.com. Click onto this link to listen to the music samples: www.cduniverse.com.

Audio samples usually last for 30 seconds in duration and play in either the Real Audio or Windows Media format.
