What Should I Do My Child Has A Temperature Of 103?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

As a mother of 4, I advise you to give your child a very WARM bath, as warm as your child can tolerate, lots of fluids to drink--room temp water and herb teas, plenty of bed rest, and abundant TLC. If temperature persists for three days, consult the pediatrician. You may want to put in a call and give the pediatrician the details, symptoms and see what they say. Trust your own parental instincts. Wishing a speedy recovery.

Take off his clothes.   Give him a warm-cool (NOT COLD) bath.   If it doesn't come down  take him to the hospital. Children are at risk for seizures at 104.
