In MS Word How Does One Set Single Line Spacing?

Was writing ingredients for recipe with single line spacing then I went back to add an ingredient and it now offers nothing but double line spacing.

    If you carefully check the tool bar in your MS Word, you would find tool of 'Line Spacing'. The by default setting is single line spacing. If it is somehow changed then you can change it to single line spacing. Single Line spacing toolbar can be viewed from View>Toolbars>Formatting.
