Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Intonation of a guitar means repairing the bridge of the guitar in case the guitar is not being sound the way it should. The intonation of a guitar is off when the sound of the E string when played open and the 12th fret of it do not sound the same. To intone the guitar, it is recommended to visit a musical shop or a person who knows how to intone the guitar perfectly. First thing to do is to replace your strings with a new set. Tune your strings. Check your 12th fret on the tuner. If the note is flat, you may have to adjust the bridge saddle. You will have to keep adjusting the heads and bridge once too many times. Repeat this process on all the strings.
