In the study of sociology and biology, population is known as the collection of 'n' number of people or organism of certain species that reside in a given geographical area or in the given space, Population is measured by Census. The study of Population is done extensively in the branch of ecology and the study is known as 'Population Biology', some times it is also known as 'Population Genetics'.
In the study of Population Dynamics or Population Biology, the age, size, growth, reproductive behaviour, morality, sex structure and the growth of population are observed.
The study of human population is known as Demography, it focuses on the tree main points. Demography mainly revolves around Fertility, Mortality and Migration. However it also focuses on marriage, divorce, labour force, family planning and public health.
