You can obtain Australian electoral rolls from the national library. These electoral rolls are not available online and cannot be purchased. The national library has complete electoral rolls from the year 1901 till date. Each state and territory has a library which has selected electoral rolls which are assessable by the public. These state and territorial libraries have online catalogues where you can obtain a summary of the details that these electoral rolls consist of. You can check the summary and if it has what you are looking for, you can go to the library and check the name on the electoral roll.
You can also find some selected electoral rolls at your local library, genealogy or family history societies. The Australian Electoral commission also allows access to electoral rolls for public. At the commission you can also find the details of past federal elections and referenda. You can also look at the Parliamentary Handbook at the high commission for information regarding electoral rolls.
