Which Animal Still Stands To Be The Deadliest In The US?

According to the Insurance Institute of America, which keeps tabs over who collects on insurance payouts and why, White-Tailed Deer are by far the deadliest animals in the US, accountable for more human fatalities than all the other animals combined, and this does NOT include human deaths that result from automobile-deer collisions, but from actually attacks.  Buck deer in "rut"(breeding condition)are super-charged with testosterone and can be extremely aggressive, more-so than any bull, and are very fast.  I personally know two people who were killed by deer and several who have been seriously injured by them, especially captive-raised deer kept as "pets".  Most people know to use caution around captive carnivores like mountain lions, but let their guard down around "harmless" plant-eaters like deer.  Moose and Elk follow closely behind their smaller relatives in the number of human deaths in the US.
