What Is Better To Take For Joint Pain, Advil Or Tylenol?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Tylenol is acetaminophen. Advil is ibuprofen.
Acetaminophen is indicated for pain & fever. Ibuprofen is indicated for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, pain, dysmenorrhea & fever.
Acetaminophen is analgesic & antipyretic but not anti-inflammatory. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Joint pains are usually due to inflammation.  So, ibuprofen (Advil) is better.
