    You can definitely use regular dish soap on your cat's food dishes. I would actually recommend putting them in the dishwasher to ensure they are disinfected.  It's always a good idea to keep your pets dishes clean.  Providing a clean environment for your animals is as important as taking care of a new kitten; If you don't want to use a dishwasher, then just ensure that the soap is completely rinsed off.

      Yes. The dish soap is manufactured in such a way that if taken in minuscule amounts does not have any harmful effects on living beings. You can use dish soap in your kitty dish but make sure you wash it thoroughly with clean water to avoid any circumstances that might cause for the soap to be mixed with the food and be harmful.
