Why Are The Keys On A Keyboard Not In Alphabetic Order?

    Because a man named qwerty yuiop (a sweedish man) developed a way to stop the keys on a typewriter sticking nand his name is the top line :P

      They keys are organized to allow easy access to all the keys. The more used keys, are in the 'easier' spots. The less used keys are in the 'harder' spots. This allows for much faster typing. The home-row keys consist of commonly used keys, limiting the amount of hand movement needed =D

        They are. However they are repeating because of the octaves. Its the same progression of letters.
