How To Protect Internet Explorer From Being Hacked?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Firstly, to clear a misconception, the majority of hacking isn't actually hacking at all. What takes place generally is that someone provides their log on information to someone that they trust. This is the case in most 'hacking' scenarios.  So ensure that if you do provide your account data to anyone, be very sure of their trustworthiness.

Some pesky programs which lodge themselves into your explorer without you allowing it are the latest trend in hacking. The software that you can use for this problem is AdAware6, which can be downloaded for free.

A manner in which to stop people from obtaining data is to erase your cookies regularly. For this, follow the given steps:

Go to the top of your Internet Explorer screen, go to Tools in the menu bar, then Internet options, click on delete cookies, double click on 'Delete offline content' and then click on Delete files.
