Imagination basically is the normal power and process of creating mental images and ideas. This expression is theoretically applied in psychology for the course of reviving in the mind percepts of objects previously given in intellect perception.

Seeing that this application of the expression clashes with that of everyday language, quiet a few psychologist have chosen to illustrate this method as “imaging” or “imagery” or to call it as “reproductive” in opposition to “productive” or “constructive” imagination.
