Can You Reset A Psp So It Turns Back On?

Answer Question

I'm afraid this will be the only answer you will get to your question...

You have not given us enough information about the PSP in question. How did it stop working? Is it a 'slim' or a 'fat'? Did someone try to update the firmware, or hack the system and it then stopped working? What do you mean by 'turns back on'? Was it on at one point, you turned it off, and now it won't turn on again? If you post more information, someone may be able to help.

Otherwise, it sounds like it was dropped or a firmware upgrade was interrupted by battery removal, dropping the unit, or the power switch being turned off... If this is the case, what you have there is a 'bricked' PSP.

The only way to 'unbrick' a psp is to either send it to Sony, and ask them to fix it (if not under warranty, it will be at your expense), or to go online and look up 'how to unbrick my psp', and see if their instructions work. But the differences between trying to unbrick a slim psp, and a fat one, are fairly different, so you'll need to make sure the instructions are for the type of PSP you have.

Good luck, and I hope things work out for you...
