Sore nipples can be due to high levels of a hormone called progesterone. This hormone is present in high quantities in blood 10 days before. So, many ladies can have premenstrual syndrome during past phase of the cycle. There are following symptoms of premenstrual syndrome which many ladies can have. It is not necessary to have all these symptoms at same time.
