If You Hurt Someone In Self Defence, How Is That Assault And Battery?

Self Defense is the hardest action to prove.  Unfortunately, it usually weighs on a jury's decision on whether or not you can be granted what happened is Self Defense or assault.  This is hard for the jury too, because if they make a wrong decision, it is hard for whom they decided against; and them for how they feel about the fate they have brought on to the person they decided against.  All one can say is "The best of luck to you."
