Should I Still Hang Out With Her?

One of my friends told me I was an embarrassment to be around in public. She said I embarrassed her because I am loud and weird. Should I still talk to her?

If she thinks that way about you than you are too good for her in my eyes. You are your own person and if she can't see that then she is the one that is "weird". Associate with people that can respect you for who you are and not what your friends want you to be.

If I were you, I won't hang out with her anymore as she is looking down on you by using that kind of cruel words. But, the answer is depend on you. Ask yourself how much you love her and how important she is. How good is she on you and did she really mean it?

I get this from certain members of my family and my S.O., I am spontaneous, and i talk to myself, and i am loud and exuberant, and just down right weird. I used to let these things get to me, until I realized they were the one with the problem. They are so worried about the all powerful THEY, AND WHAT 'THEY' Will  think, That they can't have a little bit of wholesome fun, without worrying about what others think. How sad for them, that they are confined to such a rigid conformant standard. I welcome my 'strange and unique friends' for the original personalities they are. I would still talk to the person, if conversation were offered, but I would not let them bring me down. I would probably not want to hang around them all the time, because they may be, just a tad, boring!
