What Was The Most Recent Offer Made To Former Ireland Cricket Coach Adrian Birrell?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The former coach of the Ireland cricket team Adrian Birell was a good omen for his team as his coaching had enabled the Irish cricket team to pull out a great performance in their first ever involvement in the Cricket World Cup 2007 while they managed to surprise the cricket world with their wins against former world champions Pakistan and test member Bangladesh.  Most recently his coaching potential was acknowledged by an all-star European lineup who had selected Adrian Birell to coach them for a fixture match that would be played between the European line-up and MCC at Lord's on the 7th of June, 2007.

Birell termed this offer as a great honor as he had a lot of knowledge about Associate cricket, which would help him in contributing towards the development of the game.  The match that would be played between the European line-up and the MCC at Lord's would have free entry for the spectators.
