There must be a problem with your dvd burner. Try using a different DVD writer.

To burn a DVD you need to download a DVD ripper http://www.brothersoft.com/free-dvd-ripper-57233.html you can download a very good one here. Next what you do is put your DVD in the computer and run this program follow the steps that it will tell you, one thing, everytime you backup a new DVD you must enter the name of it in the save location. Once this is done run your dvd burner software and make a DVD disk and add the file, it should then work on most dvd players.

    Hope this helps.

To answer your question I would need to know what program you're using to burn them.  By "burn" I assume you mean to put the video and audio to a disc or DVD.  By definition, DVD's have their audio & video in two separate places when you buy them from the store.  Every dvd does, your dvd player puts them together to make a movie.  So you have to be a lot more specific in what you're trying to do, and what you're using to try and do it.
