How Can I Learn To Garden?

The best way to learn how to garden is to get a few good gardening books and then use these as reference points to guide you as you garden over the seasons.
There are also a host of websites which will give you invaluable information about any specific queries you may have.
It is also important to just be patient and try out new techniques and styles within your garden.  Some will work and others won't, but that is all part of the process.
For the first couple of years it can be helpful to keep a brief diary of when you sowed seeds, when they germinated etc.  You can also take photos during the various seasons to see how your garden changes and how you would like to shape it for the next year.
Some gardeners can become quite passionate about the right or wrong ways of doing things, but each garden like each individual is different, so just go with the flow and learn slowly and steadily !
