Zola's big break in football came in nineteen eighty nine when he signed for Napoli.  In four years with the club he scored thirty two league goals in one hundred and five league games.  In ninety three he moved to Parma, playing a further century of games, scoring at a rate of just under one every other game, the healthiest goal return period of his career.
