    Laser Surgery:
It is the classiest technique of tattoo removal, laser surgery is well-liked because it has less side effects. The laser pulses just pass into the external layers of skin and break up the coloring into little pieces that can be absorbed into the body. Generally, it takes a number of laser treatments to totally remove a tattoo. Bigger and more brilliantly colored tattoos typically take more treatments to eradicate.

    Excision:
This method is more frequently used for slighter tattoos, the skin around the tattoo is numbed with a local painkiller and the tattooed skin is cut away with a blade. The boundaries of cut skin are then sewn collectively, leaving a little scar. Better tattoos may have to be excised in more than a few stages of removing small pieces - one at a time. It necessitates skin patches taken from some other area of the body to restore the missing skin.

    Dermabrasion:
In this process, the skin on top of and around the tattoo is numbed with a painkilling spray. Buffing by using a round sanding tool takes away the top layer of skin and the tattoo ink. Since the peeling procedure causes bleeding and immense pain, a bandage is placed. This is not a satisfying method as it can cause skin staining, changes in skin surface, and unpleasant scarring.

Another piece of info for you .... it is way more expensive to remove a tattoo than to get one. If the tattoo is something you do not like, may want to tattoo something different on top of it.
