Can Acrylic Nails Cause A "Clubbing" Effect?

My nails and cuticles look like clubbing which is caused by diseases I do not have. Cuticles and skin around are very easily made to bleed and have skin tags which make me pick at them. I had been having solar nails applied.

Acrylic nails of good quality normally do not harm the nails and the skin. However, mostly they can also expose the nails to certain harmful chemicals which might cause signs of clubbing like condition to show. You might have gotten allergic to substance like formaldehyde, methyl methacrylate etc, that can cause adverse effects on the nails as well as the skin with it. You better see your doctor about it.

A friend of mine used acrylic nails for a party, in this case it was because she broke only one of her natural nails (which were amazing strong), and she had spend a while wearing them, because they look so pretty, but when she took them off, she got a  Skin infection and almost lost her natural nails, now they grow slow and weak, I believe the glues and chemical used were too much for her wealth, it is better stay natural than cause more damage to your own.
